One Complete Week

Just FYI: I made it through my first week of counting my Weight Watcher's points! I feel better already. Blogging about it made all of the difference, and I was motivated to stay on track. I lost 4.5 lbs, which is typical for the first 2 weeks of WW; I would not expect this kind of weight loss later, of course. I'll average out to losing 1-1.5 lbs a week, typically. I am pleased with myself. I had a lot of temptations all week, but I kept busy with my hobbies and housework. I also walked 4 days this week, about 3 miles each day (1 hour with the kids in the Cadillac stroller. LOL.) I do not attend WW meetings, we just can't afford it. I write my points in a journal, and weigh myself on Monday mornings in my bathroom on digital scale from the Walmart. I have not attended a meeting in years, so while the point system WW uses had evolved again and again, I still follow points the way I was taught years ago. It worked for me then, and still works now.

Thank you again for the encouragement. I have the most amazing friends.

Woo hoo! Congrats! I don't even keep a scale in my house...I am way too competitive with myself for that!

Ever watch the Biggest Loser? Well, I got addicted to the Australian version since the entire country of Australia only has five fricking channels, and these people, man! Some of them lost up to 18 pounds in a week, and this is after being at it for a couple of weeks! Who does that?

Congrats, McCoy.
