Feathered Eaters

With the current cold streak I've been extra careful to keep the birdfeeders full to the brim. I have taken birding a little more seriously lately. Aunt Bonnie gave us a subscription to Birds and Blooms, and I have been fascinated with all the different bird species, habits, and feeders. I have been pleased to learn that I have a very bird friendly set-up already. I have since added one feeder, and brought back a second suet feeder. I have added several bird houses which I have found on clearance in various locations. I have been sure to buy corn cobs for the squirrels, too. I snapped these pictures of what I believe is a family of sparrows who live in our shrubs.
