Guess what just left my oven?

Rhubarb Bread and Rhubarb Crisp! The rhubarb is from the man who gave me the rhubarb plants last week. Both recipes care of my neighbor, Carrie. I have not yet sampled the bread, but the Crisp is delicious. Hey, I walked 3-4 hours today, and yesterday, so I earned some crisp and then some. By the way, I have not lost any weight since my last report, but tomorrow is Monday, so I'll let you know how good I'm doing with my promise to myself. I need to start writings things down again. And lay off the Crisp. Yum.

Yay, food! They look great, Jamie! Next time, throw some strawberries and apples into that crisp and maybe a nice scoop of Haagen Daas Vanilla Bean Ice Cream... oh wait. I suppose you want to STOP eating crisp, not eat it for every meal, eh?
Ah well. Just send it to me!

I love Rhubarb crisp as well as strawberry rhubarb pie. I love to see the pictures of your garden. It makes want a garden. By the way, Craig just got a new job and we are moving to a small town 30 miles from Des Moines and about 70 miles from here. Maybe we can find a place where I can garden there.
