Straight to the Sandbox

When we arrived home the boys went straight into the backyard to stretch their legs.

Despite having a stiff neck from sleeping funny on the ride home, Hunter played & ate some sand. I pulled out the camera b/c this light was just magical. The sun was on it's way to setting, and it glowed through the trees and onto the kids in the backyard.

Ben played catch with Dad and the neighbors. Check out Theo's sunburn from the game! He's quite proud of his farmer's tan. Last year his arms & legs didn't see the sun; in Iraq he wore his uniform all day.

Hunter wore his trap door pajamas to sleep. Had to get a picture before they are too small for him. Oh, and I snapped some pictures of Ben forcing Dad to sing three dozen renditions of "This little light of mine" before bed. Hope everyone had a great day!
