I was reading up on our upcoming trip to California, and was viewing the Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce page. I clicked on the weather option, curious to see what we'll encounter in September at that altitude. I should preface this by telling you my middle name is Sierra, as my father was avid outdoorsman, and lover of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I read on this website that weather changes rather abruptly in the Sierra, in fact I found a quotation by a weather man who says, "If you don't like the weather in the Sierra, wait a minute." Sort of reminds me & my moods. Gave me a good little chuckle. I guess when my dad wanted to name me Sierra who knew the often moody and confusing person I would someday become.
