Antiquing

Mom and I love treaure hunting. A good antique mall is right up there with good chocolate, although both combined would be trump. So on Monday when Theo took Jason fishing all day, we went to Delavan and Walworth to browse some shops. We learned Delavan is the home of the Barnum and Bailey's Circus; throughout the town there are multiple statues in honor of the three rings. I snapped a picture of grandma and the boys by this elephant.

Delavan's biggest antique mall is closed on Mondays, but we got a tip to head to Walworth, where we found a great antique mall filled with everything wonderfully rustic, primitive, and American. I came home with a modern thing though, an heavy iron moose with angel wings. In Delavan we found a $4 gourd bird house. Little treasures. Good times.
