Visit From Dad

Ben actually asked the other day, "Is Daddy coming back?" In fact, Theo was able to come home for a few hours yesterday, however he was so tired he could barely keep his eyes open. He was able to open his mouth to eat my first pot of homemade chili, and say "yum." He sat outside with us for a little while, but he actually fell asleep on the lawn at one point. He played with the kids inside, and fell asleep in the chair, and on the living room floor. Finally, at 6pm I told him to take Hunter (who was equaly irritable and tired from no afternoon nap) and go to sleep. So, while Dad was home, we really didn't get to see him, but he did get some obvisouly much needed rest, a good shower, & a clean load of laundry to take back up to work with him.
