More Orangevale Adventures

So many more Orangevale adventures to share...

Me and my BFF, hanging out.

One evening Auntie Caitlin had the idea to run in the sprinklers a little before the sun set one night. The boys were apprehensive at first, but the parents tricked the boys right into the water: Caitlin squeezed the hose tight and told Aidan, "Oh no, the sprinkler is broken." He ran over to fix it, and she released the water, soaking him. Both Ben and Aidan fell for this repeatedly, it was so hilarious.

As you probably recall, Hunter doesn't do sprinklers. He freaked when he saw it, and kept his distance.
.

Of course, my son finds a way to be stunning in underoos and a helmet.

This is the gorgeous Tia Marie:
Caitlin and Cindy took us to this really cool "zoo" in Folsom, the Animal Sanctuary, where zoo-like animals are taken to be rescued. Many of the animals were abandoned (who abandons a tiger?) or mistreated. I loved reading each animals individual story posted on their cage. Very cool place.

The bear was eating something out of a pizza box. Tehe.
These monkeys captured our attention for some time; one would throw the steal dish at the other in the funniest way, then run down, pick it up, run back up and do it again. Entertainment, for sure.

The zoo had a mini train to ride, too. The boys loved this. And the conductor worked with my camera to capture these cute photos.

These are just random shots around the house:
The boys loved their Uncle Allan so much!

A quick shot of Cousin Dylan, who is way too grown up now. He was great with the kids.
Poor Big Ted had to endure Hunter trying to ride him or use him as a sofa.

Rocky Balboa is the most social turtle I have ever met. Loved him.
Hunter Bunter, dressed by his daddy on this particular day, played happily with his beautiful Auntie.

Auntie Caitlin spoiled her nephews madly when we were there... thse Barney slippers made Hunter so happy.

All this vacationing and driving and playing has Hunter wiped out.
