Meanwhile: Sea World

While mom and dad played galavanting lushes around Solvang, Grandma and her friend Tony took the kids to Sea World in San Diego. The kids got to see the Shamu show again:

Last year when we visited Sea World we noticed they were making a Sesame Street play area. Ben and Hunter enjoyed this play area the most on their trip to Sea World.

Several Sesame Street friends came out to play with the kids. Here's Ben and Hunter with Zoey:

And Big Bird:

The kids were lucky enough to be with the characters when no one else was around. The nice people working let the kids take picture with both the and Big Bird characters at once.

The kids got to spend a ton of time with Elmo.

While playing with Elmo the kids got a little excited, and actually knocked Elmo over.

They stuck around to help him up, at least. You can see Hunter was very concerned.
Thanks for watching the kids Grandma, and for taking them on this fun trip!

I love that last pic of Elmo. He looks like he threw his back out.

LOL! I thought it was funny, too, how Elmo's face never changes, yet it seems like he's shocked & stunned, and hurt.
