this beautiful morning

Some days the sun comes up just right. In a way that reminds you that life is great, and beauty surrounds you. The sun came up when the boys' and I were eating breakfast. It shone through through the house so beautifully!

Both boys are sick this morning, too. Now we're all sick. We have enough snot to fill a river of our own. Theo has Reserves today and was gone by sunrise. But we had our little breakfast in the kitchen, complete with a little play-doh, hot & fresh coffee, whole wheat toast, and Gerber bananas, and yogurt raisins for Ben, (and I snuck a cookie or two, I baked last night), and a whole lot of sunshine.
