After the parade we came home and the boys napped. I read a few chapters from my latest Debbie MacComber novel, and then we ate dinner. Theo grilled Brats, and I steamed green beans, and pan fried squash, both fresh from our garden! We made deviled eggs (all out of parika, sigh) & cut up watermelon in the morning, and baked cupcakes the night before. Yum yum.
The boys played in the pool before dinner, and after cupcakes.
Towards the end of the evening Ben wanted me to sing him song like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while he used his towel to pretend he was napping in his clubhouse.
Laura is wearing the new bandana Grandma sent her. Cutie pie.
