Ready for Play-Doh
I have had Play-Doh sitting on the sidelines for quite some time now. Ben is pretty crazy. He'll eat anything. He likes to stuff things in small unexpected spaces. I just didn't trust him with something like Play-Doh. As of late, he listens when I ask him to stay on the dining room table with particular toys. He has figured out that Hunter can reach all of the other surfaces and can and will destroy whatever he is working on. So, the Play-Doh stays on the table. He LOVES it. And he gets it. Earlier this week we made these flat cookie-like objects, as well as noodles... he was so cute. I put eyes on the person shape, and immediately he suggested, "person mouth?" Yes, Ben, we'll make the person a mouth, and whatever else your imagination desires. Today we made a snowman. He loved the hat and eyes... and tried to learn to roll the dough like mom. Good times.
