A few pretty things to be thankful for.
Thanksgiving is sneaking up on us fast! I barely had time to make this little banner:
let alone spend time pondering that which I have to be thankful for. Here are just a few things I'm thankful for.
My rowdy, wild, fun-loving, close-knit family.
This adorable tired boy.
This gorgeous cat, born this spring on Mother's Day, my Schmoopy Poopy Princess.
My annual zoo pass my mom bought us this summer, and a beautiful fall day there.
This Sunday School turkey craft the boys made this morning.
The crafts I've been making in anticipation of my most favorite time of year, the Christmas holiday season.
And so much less, and so much more.

A couple things Jamie... love the picture of the ornamental grass. That banner is so cool, how did you make that? Also, I want to shove their craft down my throat...candy corn gets me every time. Your christmas craft is SO cute. I want to make some Xmas crafts this year-where do you recommend I go for inspiration?
Thanks Gina!
I made the banner in photoshop. I cropped the photo to a banner-like shape and wrote my title on it, then uploaded it. I have serious banner envy from some of the creative blogs I frequent, but I gave up a long time ago. lol.
I got the idea for my cone in a craft magazine i picked up at Walmart--it had any ugly felt snowman pillow on it, but when I opened it up I found the cone and snowflake ideas I've been adapting to my style.
I'll post about link to inspiration!
